Speak to Americans - not to Democrats and Republicans... |
|
Liberal radio - right-wing radio. Democratic "issues". Republican "issues". Everything is divided into Democrat vs Republican or liberal vs conservative. So long as that is the case, we are handicapped. That is the strength of the Republican Party. And with their control of the radio and cable TV networks, we are at a disadvantage.
We need to change the paradigm. We need to change the political reality of communication. We should talk to people as Americans - not as Democrats or Republicans. If we could do that, we could begin to level the playing field and we could minimize the Republican advantage with their propaganda. But, is it possible?

if possible - we should not only do what we can to tear down the illusion of the bush regime - if only to save this country (and maybe mankind itself) - but we should also give those on the other side who now wake and speak and are starting to resist neocon treason, we shoud, if we can, give them an alternative - something to come toward, with as much American forgiveness as possible - to those who realize and seek to repair or only to leave. We must be willing to accept the republican refugees. If we can, without compromising our party, offer to newly awakened republican patriots a place to go, as they fleeing the party bush destroyed.

2. They don't need refuge from Democrats... |
|
They need refuge from America. We cannot say, "we told you so". We have to say, what can we do together to take back our country?

well, almost.
I don't know if I can resist the "we told you so" comment.
but I agree, we must come together as patriots, not partisans, to rescue our country from the dark maniacle force within - it might be our only hope. I have to say, tho, that I know there are many whom I would not welcome - and who probably would not seek welcome - and whom I'd not trust if they did.

5. I think it is fair to point out that the present Bush neo-conservatism.... |
|
is neither conservative nor Republican. They, like all Americans, have been sold a bill of goods.
