CENTERVILLE :

Television personality Phil Donahue said he remembered Stephanie Studebaker as a little girl running past him in their Centerville neighborhood. "She ran faster than a lot of the boys," he said. Donahue returned to Centerville from New York on Saturday to back Studebaker, daughter of the late James Breslin, a man Donahue called his best friend.

Studebaker announced officially at her home that she has filed petitions to run for the 3rd Congressional District seat held by Republican Mike Turner. Studebaker said she expects to compete in the Democratic primary May 2 to challenge Turner in November.

Studebaker, a veterinarian, said she is alarmed by the federal deficit and "pork-barrel spending" that keeps the budget unbalanced. Studebaker said neither her business nor her parents' sporting goods business would have survived had they followed the irresponsible spending patterns of the Republican-controlled federal government. She promised a fiscally responsible "pay as you go" practice if elected. She also spoke in favor of enhanced federal support for pre-kindergarten and college education and a living wage for full-time workers.

Donahue said Studebaker would "provide checks against a very secretive, power-hungry executive branch."

This seat, District #3, is currently held by Republican Mike Turner

Here is her web site.......Come on in and get to know this dynamic lady.

I'll post pictures of us from the Announcement Party tomorrow night.

4. She is simply a beautiful soul......
She is running because she wants to work at repairing our nation. She had been extensively active with Ohio Voter Fraud/Reform prior to this campaign decision. She started the web site/PAC "Wake-Up Ohio" and organized the October 2004 Town Hall Discussion with Amy Goodman and Phil Donahue. There is a DVD out from that event.

She is simply magnificent. She gives Ohio Hope! Go take a look at her web site....Drop a dime or two while you are there......O8) :hi: :kick:
