Yes, I know it's nice to see DICKhead being exposed for the MORON he is for accidently shooting this poor 78 year old guy (how in the HELL do you mistake a dude who's 78, FOR A BIRD?!) and I'm sorry to be a party pooper here, but IRAN! And let's stop and think this bitch through, shall we? If the USA bombs and/or invade Iran (who's to say we haven't already?) then you can bank the farm that guess what Iran will do? Oh yeah, bomb the crap out of Israel. Ok, you see where I'm going with this, right? Yup, Israel will probably say "OH HELL NO!" and send a nice nuclear present to Iran. THEN, yes kids, then we are SCREWED! I don't think I'm tinfoil-hatting-out on this, but com'on, Israel doesn't play. Is it just me?! I mean, let's not let this get off the front burner. We got Condom-sleeza beating the WAR DRUM for not just IRAN but also SYRIA (Why? Why Syria? WTF am I missing?! Do they even have oil!?) so you know this is not something that is gonna go away. We gotta do all we can to stop this bullshit from hitting the fan, or else we're all fukued.

2. Syria is a major backer of terrorism, and has played a role in...
..violence in Lebanon, including the murder of the minister (sorry, I forgot his name).

Since Sept. 11, Syrian information has been instrumental in catching militant Islamists around the world, say US officials.

In the wake of Sept. 11, Syria cooperated with the CIA in passing on information on Islamist radicals suspected of having connections with the Al Qaeda network of Osama bin Laden. Damascus has little sympathy for Islamist militants, perceiving them as a potential threat to the secular regime. Many Islamist radicals arrested in Europe and the US after the Sept. 11 attacks are believed to have been identified from information provided by Damascus.

American intelligence and State Department officials have told me that by early 2002 Syria had emerged as one of the C.I.A.’s most effective intelligence allies in the fight against Al Qaeda, providing an outpouring of information that came to an end only with the invasion of Iraq.

Within weeks of the September 11th attacks, the F.B.I. and the C.I.A, with Syria’s permission, began intelligence-gathering operations in Aleppo, near the Turkish border.

Syria also provided the United States with intelligence about future Al Qaeda plans. In one instance, the Syrians learned that Al Qaeda had penetrated the security services of Bahrain and had arranged for a glider loaded with explosives to be flown into a building at the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters there. Flynt Leverett, a former C.I.A. analyst who served until early this year on the National Security Council and is now a fellow at the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution, told me that Syria’s help “let us thwart an operation that, if carried out, would have killed a lot of Americans.” The Syrians also helped the United States avert a suspected plot against an American target in Ottawa.

5. i agree
this is a very worrisome issue. I just hope that they are just blustering, but are not seriously planning to bomb Iran, that would be a disaster.

8. Nah, We Won't Forget. It's Pretty Important. We Can Absorb More Than One
thing at once though. So we can mock ole cheney for a night, but fear not, we still know we have to make sure we stop the Iran invasion. We won't forget that.

11. PNAC= friendly pro-western nations from Lebanon (friendly) thru
Syria ( not friendly) Iraq (we own) Iran ( war on tap) Afghanistan (we own) Pakistan (friendly) India (friendly) to the doorstep of China where the bush crime family can monitor the goings on there. So you see why Syria is being threatened.

13. Pakistan & India are "friendly" only to governments.
The citizens hate us.

One successful assassination attempt away from "very very unfriendly" and "whooooboy talk about unfriendly".
