Tweety: It's the creepy staffers who get jobs on the Hill
Tweety, talking about Abramoff, says that 99% of Congress are good guys & woman who are driven by ideology. He then blames "creepy" staffers who take jobs on the Hill so that they can later become lobbiest for the corruption.

Gee Tweety, when I watch cspan and watch the repubs--as a group--I would say that they are the creepy corrupt ones whose only ideology is greed & power.

Some are creepier and more corrupt than others, shall we make a list?

I'll begin. James Sensenbrenner :puke:

12. Wasn't Tweety a hill staffer for O'Neal? I mean, really...
Edited on Tue Jan-03-06 12:50 PM by Democrat 4 Ever
pot meet kettle. If there was ever anyone who pushed his hill experience into a position that he is totally unqualified for it would be that GOP Shill for Chimpy. Of course Tweety has forgotten everything that O'Neal stood for just just so he and his wifey could get invited to the White House Holiday Party and get all goose bumpy and flustered. (I think Tweety has a crush on Chimpy - I imagine he has dreams of him in a cowboy hat, chaps, etc. - minus the horse, everyone knows Chimpy is afraid of horses). Tweety has drunk the Kool Aid, jumped the shark and lost any ounce of credibility when he keeps making inane comments abouts Chimpy's "sunny nobility."

Funny note - Don Imus called Tweety an idiot in an article that is running in this month's edition of Vanity Fair. Tweety is often on Imus' show but Don still called him an idiot. I'm not a big Imus fan but I got a nice chuckle out of that. Wish I could remember what he called Bow Tie Boy. Tweety called an idiot and name Misinformer of the Year - been a couple of totally deserving weeks for the Ol' Tweets.

*Correction on who Tweets worked for, some reason I had Moynihan as his employer.

15. Tweety was on O'Neill leadership staff not his personal but....
I am pretty sure that Russert never worked for Speaker O'Neill on either staff. He worked for either Senator Moynahan or Governor Cuomo I think.

5. Ask any American; almost everyone says all politicians are corrupt.
That talking point won't fly.

What's the new meme? Are they going to blame the staffers, as if the Congress critter didn't know? Puh-leeze. :eyes:

14. There is a story somewhere
about how Tweety applied for a job with the Clinton admoinistration as a speechwriter but was rejected. For some reason he felt he was treated unfairly by whoever turned down his application and has had a hard on for democrats and clinton ever since. Don't know how true this is but I believe tweety would give his left nut to be a creepy staffer in the * white house where he could gaze longingly at *'s crotch every day.

17. Tweety likes Bush, dislikes Clinton.
Also, his brother is a big Republican in Montgomery County, PA. Anything Dem that rubbed off onto Tweety when he worked for Tip O'Neal has long since been erased from him.

When the war started, he was gung ho. Lately, he seems to realize that he was lied to by his idol, Bush, and doesn't drink the war Kool Aid anymore. I think he still drinks the rest of the Kool Aid, though.

16. He was watching Abramoff walking out of court
and mocked his expensive suit and expensive hat, because that was suppose to be his "humility suit" the one he'd wear to get sympathy. He called Abramoff "Satan" and portrayed him as an almost snake in the garden, saying to young staffers "Want what I got?" Very passionate a moment ago.

Sometimes I like Mr. Matthews.

21. But then he opens his mouth, again, and you realize the moment's fled.
I've given up on his bait-and-switch tactics. Too exhausting to guess which way Tweety'll flip or flop every day.

:hi:
