So, when does Rep Burton start shooting pumpkins in his backyard?
I mean, there is something "fishy" here. I'm sure Dan Burton from Indiana will set-up some pumpkins in his yard and shoot them with bird-shot in an experiment to determine whether this was really an accidental shooting. He'll also want to see how the pumpkin-head reacts to being blasted by shrapnel.

In addition, reports are that Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh who repeatedly, and I mean REPEATEDLY question why it took Senatory Kennedy so long to call the police one fateful night in the 1960's, will begin a non-stop inquiry as to why it took over 24 hours for the VP to notify the authorities, or for info to come out about this shooting. They will explore the possibility that the VP really did intentionally shoot Mr Wittington, and also the possibility that the VP was drunk, and the delay was to allow the VP to sober up.

Faux News, MSGOP, and CNN will provide 24/7 coverage of the shooting with insight from Howard Dean. I mean, they devoted 24/7 to cover the disappearance of a DC intern of a Democratic Congressman when in reality, he had nothing to do with her disappearance. I'm sure that since this is an "actual" shooting, where at a minimum, the laws of common-sense were broken, they will provide the "indepth" coverage it deserves.

1. This cover-up will be Cheney's doom
The VP can't just ignore the law (sarcasm)
and he certainly can't go around shooting people
without reporting it to the police. (can he??)

Something stinks here... and it's the fake story
that Cheney's protectors have been hawking....
it's all written with the same hand.. and its way
too complete and detailed to be realistic. It just
doesn't ring true.... I mean how do you shoot
someone in the face when they are behind the
line of fire??? And besides... didn't Cheney look first?

My guess is that he was drunk.... and they
delayed reporting to sober the old fart up
and get their stories in order. Whatever...
we need to know what happened during the
missing hours. And why they are obstructing (again).

2. Cheney couldn't even stand for the VP debate, he almost collapsed after
his knee/artery/vein surgery (when he did his first post-op photo-op at the WH) and he's all hunched over sideways and his head and face are lopsided (previous stroke?) How could someone so unhealthy that they can't stand up for a one-hour debate be allowed to go quail hunting with a big, heavy shotgun and people all around him?
