The Armstrong Ranch and Armstrong, Texas
are in the middle of absolutely nowhere. For those interested, nothing lives there except javalinas, deer, wild hogs, quail, cattle and a lot of brush. A Cat 3 or 4 hurricane went in close to Armstrong several years ago and no one noticed because there was very little damage because it is literally no where.

Lots of oil and gas, though.

From Google Earth:

I thought the area was King Ranch, but I guess not.
