Too bad Chevy Chase isn't around to do Dick Cheney |
|
If you remember the 70's, one of the satirical milestones of that era was Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford.
Poor Gerald Ford got an image as a bumbler after having a few public slips and falls. Chevy Chase portrayed the President on Saturday Night Live as a total bumbler, tripping and falling all over the stage. It became a classic.
Imagine what a field day he'd have with Cheney if he were still on SNL.

And from what I remember way back then, Ford told everyone he loved those skits. I read or heard about tens years ago that all those falls and stunts Chevy Chase used to do has caused him some physical problems that he suffers with now. That's too bad.
