You know, I know and every American knows that Bush didn't use the NSA program to spy on Americans who were getting calls from Al-Qaeda. If he did, he would have done one of the following
1. Gotten Authorization from FISA
2. If FISA didn't like the program for it's broadness (casting a net), would have gotten agreement from Senate Intelligence Committee who would at the same time have passed a law to allow the program (after all, Congress is controlled by Bush's party).
3. Gotten his OWN Attorney General Ashcroft to sign off on the program (which he didn't).

But he DIDN'T do any of those things, all which would have likely agreed to the program if that's what it was about.

So the logical conclusion is that the NSA program was NOT about spying on Americans communicating with Al-Qaeda.

What was it about then? The answer to that is in WHO was spied upon and WHAT information was collected by the program.

As a result, this whole scandal could be put to rest if they let ONE SINGLE HIGH-RANKING DEMOCRAT with clearance to VERIFY THAT THE PROGRAM WAS ABOUT SPYING ON THOSE WHO ARE WORKING WITH THE TERRORIST.

I TRIPPLE-DOG DARE GEORGE W. BUSH TO ALLOW JOHN. D. ROCKEFELLER IV or other Democratic member of the Senate Intelligence Committee TO VERIFY THAT THE NSA SPY PROGRAM WAS USED SOLELY TO SPY ON TERRORISTS BY EXAMINING THE LIST OF AMERICANS WHO WERE SPIED UPON AND WHAT INFORMATION WAS GATHERED ON THOSE AMERICANS.
