Question about Casey in PA.
Is he anti-choice all the way? Will he actively seek to end a womans right to choose? I'm not looking for a flame war, i just simply don't know.

1. yes he is
http://www.issues2000.org/Social/Bob_Casey_Abortion.htm
he clearly has the Catholic dogma full court on abortion

makes me ill but -
if I agree with one candidate (Casey) on 9 out of ten issues and I disagree with the other(little ricky) on 9 out of 10 - where does that leave me??
No candidate is perfect - I will vote for my dog over little Ricky but I will not stop trying to educate Casey on the issue of my reproductive rights as a woman

Chuck Pennacchio and you don't have to sacrifice your right to choice.

You can agree with 10/10

http://www.chuck2006.com/

A new Zogby poll shows that Chuck wins the highest percentage of votes against Rick Santorum of any potential Democratic challenger when likely voters learn where the candidates stand on key issues. Chuck led Santorum by 45.4 percent to 43.5 percent among likely Pennsylvania voters compared to Casey's lead of 40.1 to 38.3. These numbers also shows that when Chuck goes head to head against Santorum, more respondents were inclined to vote.

Chuck Pennacchio (Democrat)
On abortion – pro-choice
On stem cell research – supports
Accepts PAC money – no
War in Iraq – opposed
Troops in Iraq – out as soon as safely possible
National Health Care – supports
Raising the minimum wage – supports living wage with different levels depending on where the worker lives
NAFTA/CAFTA – opposed both
Alito confirmation to Supreme Court – supports a filibuster

3. you are right
Chuck does get my vote for the primary - but if Casey is the candidate - than I will look for common ground and try to stay on his case- its all we can do unless we stay home

4. He has said that he won't legislate his personal opinions...
So while he is anti-choice, I don't think he will actively seek to end a woman's right to choose.

5. Yes, he said he *will* vote to overturn Roe
He said he would vote as a Roman Catholic on the issue which is massively hypocritical since he approves the death penalty and the Iraq war.
