1. I got my hubby to listen to him

In Western PA a "liberal" radio show is hard to come by so my husband who likes talk radio ended up listening to Limbaugh and that ILK. You can imagine the fights that followed, too often I'd have to constantly correct the RW talking points he believed to be truth. To end that debate I only need say consider the source.

I found Hartmann on a local am station, It doesn't come in too well at my house but I can stream on the internet. I told my hubby about him .. he's been listening to him vs Limbaugh which makes my life easier!

I don't have to sit there and patiently dispute the RW talking points he was getting based with all day.

So here is to Thom! thank you and lets hope your show hangs around!

2. Check out Lynn Cullen as well before Thom Hartmann

WPTT 1360 in Western PA - I know they have a weak signal. Good news is that by either later this year or early next they're supposed to switch frequencies to a stronger signal, but for now you can stream. Lynn is on 9-Noon.

My S.O. and I were out in the middle of nowhere (WY) during the immediate aftermath of Katrina, and we had Serius radio on our rental vehicle. My first introduction to Thom Hartmann's 3 hours of sanity each day!!!
