8. d'oh
reflex, first time I have done that this year - I've even managed to keep my checks current. guess I could join that gang! Of course Breslin had a slightly different view than guns and peppering but this Admin is equal to the label Jimmy gave the Nixon crew.

7. dick is getting creamed!!!
Press Corps seems pretty pissed/incredulous that "a private citizen" (Ms. Armstrong) is the one doing all the informing about the shooting, not the VP's office.
I love the way they're actually saying Cheney "shot" someone.
Woo hoo.
They are really reaming Scottie (again).:)

They are covering the story, calling it HUMOROUS, the tag line below says CHENEY NOT FIRST VP TO SHOOT SOMEBODY...as though it is a common occurrence!!

Now they are saying JIMMY CARTER IS A HUNTER!!! And ya better DUCK if you golf with FORD!!!

Now they are on to the Jimmy Carter rabbit...good Lord! They are saying that Dickie needs to laugh his way out of this....

Now they have a woman hunter on, to justify Dickie's behavior--they are playing out the parts, with the commentator playing Dick and the woman playing the hapless Whittington. What should we do so we don't shoot each other, the guy asks?

This is actually pathetically funny! They're blaming WHITTINGTON, again!!!

ON EDIT--the woman hunter REFUSES to play along--she said CHENEY WAS AT FAULT, and wouldn't back down. Guess she won't be a Faux Friend anytime soon!!!!

14. Laugh your way out of shooting some one?
I can't wait to see some one use that in the court of law.

15. I NEVER watch that station, ever--but with the Olympics, MSNBC
doesn't have news running during the day...so I stopped while flipping because they were covering the story. The tag line about Cheney not being the first VP to shoot someone just captivated me--I couldn't believe the tone, the way they were trying to manage the story, the whole approach to it. It was COLBERT-like, only they weren't playing it for laughs (beyond urging old Five Deferments to ho-ho his way out of it).

I could only stomach that segment--but no wonder people who consume a regular diet of that crap are nitwits...the whole approach to "news" is like a junior high school gossip-fest!

Of course, the way the MonkeyCrew has packed the courts, justice is headed down the crapper as well...if they can take your home from you and give it to a private developer, with the courts' blessings, it probably isn't too far a stretch to claim that Five Deferments shot that guy in self-defense!!! Ha, ha! Ain't that funny, Judge? Don't you hate some lawyers as much as I do?? Nudge, nudge...wink, wink!
