From the funny headline dpt: Man shot by Cheney listed as ‘very stable’ |
|
Since when have patients been listed as "Very Stable" You are either Critical or Stable, I didn't know there were varying levels of stable. MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11312757/

why is he in ICU? I thought once you're stable they transfer you to a regular room.

6. Well, as we all learned from Miracle Max, there are also different levels |
|
of dead.
Such as "mostly dead" and the like. :P

8. Well I suppose you could be "very critical" |
|
but how could you be more stable than "stable"? Sounds to me like an attempt to minimize Mr. Whittington's injuries.
On second thought since "stability' indicates a condition that is not changing nor likely to change you actually could be "very stable". If you were dead.

Just saw the hospital administrator at a press conference (which was interrupted for Bush to say hello to Kofi). The administrator took over the question asked to the doctor about the 'victim's' condition. What was really funny was that he said he didn't know where the rumour started that Whittington was going to be released today.
They seem rather preoccupied with suggesting that Harry W's condition is not serious. If he's so well, I wonder why he's still in hospital.
Edit-gr.

16. The first hospital had him transferred to a Trauma ICU at a bigger hosp. |
|
That doesn't sound like a "peppering" to me. He's been in that Trauma ICU, now, for nearly two days. The first hospital couldn't handle these "superficial" wounds? Gee, I wonder why he would need a trauma unit? Think it could've been more serious than they let on? :eyes:
The spin from this cabal is nauseating.
