One ad they need to run, would be a reminder ad..
Perhaps a guy in a suit pulling dusty boxes off a spiderwebby shelf..
Boxes are marked:
Gay marriage
Gun Control
God in school
Abortion
The voice over could be something to the effect..
"Republicans say democrats have no new ideas.. Well, then WHY do the republicans dust off all these old ideas every election cycle?
They have had YEARS in control. If they had WANTED to enact legislation their base wanted, they could have done it.
They need these issues to inflame the rhetoric and stir up their base with empty promises.. Then they put them back on the shelf, until the next election..
As predictable as a jack in the box... Turn the crank, and sure enough, Jack pops up"
