The Party of Personal Responsibility |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-13-06 05:32 PM by Plaid Adder
She calls up and says, "Does it bother you at all that it's now suddenly the 78-year-old's fault for getting shot? I mean, there's no accounta-fucking-bility in this administration."
We were discussing this and I said, "You know, if you're holding a gun, and your finger is on the trigger, it's your fucking job to make sure you don't shoot someone with it!"
A statement with which you'd figure nobody could argue...yet now, of course, the 'party of personal responsibility' no longer accepts this proposition.
Can we have the real world back? I don't like it on this side of the looking glass.
C ya,
The Plaid Adder

1. Responsibility is a euphemism for Blame |
|
And we all know that republicans don't accept any blame for anything. It's always someone else's fault.
So of course Dick isn't accepting responsibility.
They really are evil.

2. Even a simple, public, "Sorry, Whit," is beyond Cheney's capabilities. |

3. It's disgusting, isn't it? |
|
They know no depth to how low they will stoop to shrug off the blame for their wrongs.
Simply pathetic.
