they could stick a Republican in, and it would be better than Cuellar. An Hispanic Republican might at least care about his constituency. Cuellar is just there to support Bush.

That the Republicans didn't put anybody up for this seat. After all, Cuellar's such an uber-DINO that they don't need to. And they can't put anyone up now as the filing deadline for Texas has passed
