DUers will no doubt be SHOCKED that Hardball had 2 R vs. 1 D Iraqi Vet |
|
congressional candidates on today.
I don't watch MSNBC except when it's in front of my face at the gym. Matthews even SAID "we've got 2 R's and 1 D" in case that fact was missed by any viewers.
Any mention of the actual ratio of D to R Iraq Vet candidates was, of course, omitted.

Sounds "fair and balanced" to me. This is Softball after all. Anything more than 3 R's to 1 D is wonderful news. I'm really surprised they even let 1 Democrat on.
They'll probably let the 2 R's talk over him though, and Tweety will certainly break for commercial if he actually starts to speak, so don't worry....balance will be preserved.

3. The fact that NON-R enlisteds outnumber Rs 2 to 1 wasn't mentioned |
|
of course. Nor the fact that MORE DEM vets are running for office than R vets.
Gee I am so surprised these facts were not mentioned not.

4. Not only more... WAY more... |
|
I really don't expect more from MSNBC. But I must admit, I'm still at least a little bit surprised/ticked off by each new brazen bit of bias.
Once I have submitted to re-Neducation I'm sure I won't have this problem anymore.

8. Yes and remember, Aristide RESIGNED AND FLED Haiti. |
|
He was NOT KIDNAPPED by US forces in 2004 on bush's orders and flown out of the country handcuffed & blindfolded. IGNORE the UK, Canada, European et al media that say the democratically elected Aristide was overthrown, by bush who sent in US troops to kidnap him.
Ok, next, Iraq WMD; we found em. So when anyone says we didn't find them, we did. And they weren't for wienies, see.
Are you processing all of this? Good.
Now, the law; when the president does it, it's legal...

7. Well it's obviously mixed. On the Iraq Vets for congress, obviously Repub |
|
slant just by virtue of who he had on.
On the Cheney issue a little better. He did in fact express disbelief at the approach taken by Cheney and the White House in nondisclosure, and he had Ron Reagan on and let him speak. And the Repub spokesperson was Pat Buchanan who is only up shrubco's jock about half the time.
He did indicate that the WH approach, that they need not disseminate this info and that it was appropriate for the ranch lady to be the first to say something, was seriously screwed up.
On the TV next to MSNBC was FAUX, and Gibson and his guest, some judge Napolitano (?) were yukking it up like the shooting was some big joke.
