I don't know who to give them to...
The administrators, for obvious reasons?
John Kerry, for his continual Tour of Duty? (Filibuster!)
John Conyers & Barbara Boxer & John Murtha & ... for their tours of duty? (decertify, impeach)
The DU community for being informative, tolerant, open, honest, willing to debate, supportive, etc.?
The 1000+ posters who help newbies along?
The Republicans or Conservatives who have integrity, value truth over party, and share ultimate goals, if not immediate ones?
My students?
Musicians and writers who inspire?
The children, who all transcend politics?
The veterans?
Those who speak out, like Cindy Sheehan, and those who silently fight?
(This list leaves out the family, who already have my heart :)
Silence gives consent, so if you fit in one of these groups - or a deserving one I haven't mentioned - take my silence for consent to borrow my hearts, as needed.
