Continuing the beating it to death thing, how does a person come in with a gunshot wound and no police called?

I don't know, Matthews is devoting his whole hour, so the people Cheney didn't kill are the subject du jour.

4. That's not what I was looking for.
Isn't there a police report from the hospital?

2. I heard earlier that the guy who got shot was briefly interviewed
by police today, so I guess a report was filed.

3. It is law in Texas. Gunshot or dogbite- even self-inflicted or your
own dog bites you, medical facilities are ordered to call law enforcement.

This is a real issue in this case and I believe it is alcohol driven.

5. It's an open question
Did the hospital staff just get the word to not worry, the WH and secret service were handling it?

8. State law supersedes. It is very clear on this point. The locals, tho,
are basically lackeys for the Armstrongs and Klebergs and just illegally acquiesced.

Chickenshits.

There are so many unanswered questions.

7. And since the police weren't, who would have told them that?
Maybe the secret service detail tells them it's all under control and not to tell anyone. Just asking.
