4. The best line in this clip is.....
When some one asks Scotty:

When did you learn the Vice President was the shooter.

I was hoping they'd start referring refer to Cheney as the perp, just like on the TV show, Cops.

11. My favorite question during today's press conference was when one of the
reporters asked McClellan if this would have been more serious, if the man had died...:eyes::crazy:

13. ya think?!? and these guys are being paid?........
Someone on another thread noted if the lawyer had died, we may never have heard about it.

They can cover-up 9-11, they damn sure would do away with this.

15. I agree. To be honest, I'm surprised that we ever heard about it.
Cheney was surrounded by cronies and subordinates, don't forget, and in a fairly remote location... Something is very odd about this entire scenario, hence the public fascination with it. I wonder if we'll ever find out the whole story...:grr:

McClellan ducking the questions of frustrated, angry WH reporters who want to know why the reporting was delayed 22 hours and came through a private citizen (the ranch owner). Someone also made the point that the Corpus Christi paper that broke the story is an AP paper and wanted to know why AP didn't pick it up for national dissemination. (Hah!)

17. You don't need a TV!
You can catch all the best highlights, here on DU. This is my personal favorite, Jon Stewart, of "The Daily Show," on Dick Cheney's shooting spree...
