Abramoff Leaves the Courthouse ---pix->>>
Edited on Tue Jan-03-06 02:44 PM by Stephanie

He sure dressed the part, didn't he?

Jack Abramoff leaves Federal Court in Washington Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006. The once-powerful lobbyist pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal charges of conspiracy, tax evasion and mail fraud, agreeing to cooperate with prosecutors investigating influence peddling that threatens powerful members of the U.S. Congress. 20. I think he's wearing major protective gear--maybe even in the hat.
Although the hat doesn't look like it could do too much to protect him. If it were pulled down farther, maybe. Or maybe it's also supposed to obscure his head, making it a more difficult target?

32. You are probably on to something there.
If they wouldn't kill him, who would? He could be "Baxterized" in a heartbeat.

As George W. Bush would say, imitating Carla Fay
Tucker, "please don't kill me."

9. This guy has a thing for black.
His hair is now as dark as that coat, and it makes his bald spot rather conspicuous.

I'm gonna send him some of that spray paint for heads -- from the Ronco guy.

22. He is the Mafia
Jack Abramoff liked to slip into dialogue from "The Godfather" as he led his lobbying colleagues in planning their next conquest on Capitol Hill. In a favorite bit, he would mimic an ice-cold Michael Corleone facing down a crooked politician's demand for a cut of Mafia gambling profits: "Senator, you can have my answer now if you like. My offer is this: nothing."

;) Except that giant gut. Hey, maybe that's it: Jack uses his ample stomach as ballast to keep his soulless body from floating away.
