We're a viable voting force here. Do you think there aren't operatives
here trying to influence our leanings?

See the Hackett discourse. Rebuttals to dissent were pretty quick and with the same messages. Maybe I just need more tin foil.

1. No tinfoil here,
I just know that Brown is far more palatable to me as a liberal, and I think Hackett is famous for nothing he stands for so much as his willingness to talk trash about Bush, which is far from a compelling reason to elect him to office. Brown is pro-labor and pro-fair trade and I think we need more like him in Congress.

I DO think what Reid and Schumer did is dirty, but it's hardly "DLC," as Brown is a superior candidate from a liberal standpoint.

2. Noticed that too..
It was instant, constant, and forceful - like the 'order was given' to 'tame DU'...

Tame DU? my ass...

3. I defended Brown, and I'm pretty far to the left
I don't approve of the national party interfering in the primaries, but in this case I think it's at least for a good candidate.

Brown is very liberal. He would bring a needed liberal/progressive voice to the senate.

Hackett's straight talk is admirable but where's the beef?

7. Actually, we're not a viable voting force.
We are far too dispersed geographically to make any difference whatsoever in an election. If we wanted to make a difference I suppose we could all move to Wyoming (pop. 501,242).

8. I think The Party Leadership are the operatives, I'm almost serious
nobody can make that many bad decisions by accident, both sides working for the same goals.?
