I am so friggin' tired of war mongering politicians preaching family values.

Very few of these mongers have ever served in our military -- and even fewer of their sons and daughters serve now.

Where I come from -- war the is the last resort. This is my families' value.

1. Most of these people want to cut-off Grandma's medical coverage

and reduce dad's minimum wage while giving his tax money to the war machine. They aren't even interested in keeping benefits open for veterans.

"Family Values" means anti-gay, nothing more.

They're cutting aid to the poor, so they don't care about those families.

They're cutting aid to the elderly, so they don't care about families' grandparents.

They're cutting aid to the disabled, so they don't care about families with disabled members.

They're cutting aid to students, so they don't care if future families can support themselves with the better jobs that come from better educations.

They're cutting aid to Veterans, so they don't care about the families affected by the war they are so in support of.



All they do care about is that gays can't get married and become legal families. In the process they are destroying millions of families, all in the name of "Family Values". What a trade.

They know that universities are where free speech lives.

I wonder how "Conservative" schools react to being controlled?

5. They are doing their best

to ensure that only the rich can afford to go to college. Thus ensuring that the privileged get the jobs of high pay and status, and the rest get the peon jobs that go nowhere. We will end up reverting to the strict class system of the Gilded Age, with a select group of uber-rich and a mass of poor people who slave for them.
