Did I hear that Cheney did not have a hunting license? |
|
That in itself is a misdemeanor. It would be another indication that the Republicans think they are above the law. One other thing that I would like to know the answer to is where did the birds come from, did the Texas Wildlife provide them, if so a canned shoot might be a more serious offense. You can bet on the fact that there is something in this event that needs to be covered up, or, they would not have waited 14 hours before they released the news.
There is no coverup without some reason to coverup,

2. He did not have a license to hunt quaill |
|
He sent in the $7.00 fee after the fact (according to AAR report this morning). Also in that report is that the ranch owner is a lobbyist.

It cost $345 for a non-resident hunting license and special shoot permit.

5. Breaking the law is what they do best. |
|
Lying to Congress to go to war in Iraq; leaking a CIA agent's identity; hunting without the proper license. They are following their same pattern. They are apparently above the law.

7. Why should he have a license and what state is he a residence of |
|
Recall during the 2000 election when puff, cheney majically became a resident of Wyoming because there was an issue of whether the constitution allowed two people from the same state to run on a presidential ticket.
And why would a member of the bush administration have to get a license to do anything? They don't give a damn about the rule of law. Ironic, huh!

9. Two from the same state can run for Pres. and VP they just |
|
can't get that state electors' votes. Hard for a Republican ticket to win without Texas.
