that the victim comes out of this a much richer man. He has, after all, been pretty aggressive in defending his property rights. The guy who shot him isn't exactly poor and is well advised to avoid the spectacle of a trial. Me thinks there will be a rather substantial settlement - with a confidentiality clause. I don't look for the victim to ever comment publicly about the incident.
