How good life is when you're a Republican
This was just a CLASSIC bit that was posted in the comments over at ThinkProgress...

I got stopped for speeding the other day. When the officer asked me if I knew how fast I was driving, I said ‘yes’ but that I happened to know Bush rode through here recently at the same ridiculously high rate of speed. I grinned, knowing that it was legal. Then he explained that exceeding the speed limit is only legal if Bush does it. No longer grinning, I thought for a moment. Then I asked him how long this speed limit has been if effect. He said it had been for years, probably since the 60s. So I told him since it’s such an old law, I don’t consider it relevant today. Seeing the look on his face, I knew I had him, and started to drive away. I didn’t get far when he stopped me again. He said my car was used in connection with a recent holdup of a 7-11, and that a man who robbed the place at gunpoint, fled in this car. I told him that my husband is only a casual acquaintance who occasionally lets me use his car. The officer looked totally defeated. As I drove I away, I thought about how good life is when you’re a republican.

2. They forgot the part where the officer apologizes
And the next day, all the officer's friends and co-workers criticise him for even pulling the car over in the first place.
