Is it possible that he could have been there Saturday when the shooting occurred? Could shrub have actually been the shooter? Was shrubbie seen publicly by anyone on Saturday? It certainly would be a good explanation for the way they've handled the PR. By holding the story til Sunday, it would have given them time to get shrubbie back to DC and sobered up in time to get him to church on Sunday.
