Some DU'ers seem unable to grasp that while lobbying and campaign finance laws are so lax they are CLOSE to bribery, money laundering etc. they are not the same thing.

In fact, the laws are so lax, you have to be pretty freaking corrupt to cross the line into illegality like Abramoff and Delay etc. So far, NOTHING has been presented that would implicate ANY Democrat in ILLEGAL behavior.

So when the Mediawhores tell you Reid or any other Democrat has accept money from these people or those people... please don't take the bait.

Unless they have PROOF of Quid Pro Quo or other blatantly illegal activities like bribery as they have with Abramoff and Co., they are just trying to smear Democrats who probably/may have done NOTHING WRONG.

We want to change lobbying and campaign finance laws but there ARE laws on the books now, and the Feds are going to need SOLID proof of actual illegal behavior on any Democrat's part to convince me before I start cutting them loose.

3. I just finished anti-money laundering training for my job...

...and YES, ABRAMOFF, DELAY, ET. AL. ARE GUILTY OF MONEY LAUNDERING. I said it in all caps because it's TRUE. Yes, innocent until proven guilty applies to money laundering suspicions too, but Abramoff is set to plead guilty. I'm waiting for the house of cards to come tumbling down!!!
