So I no longer have an account at Kos (at least not with the option to do a new diary, or rate comments). Whatever. Markos is a scumbag tool working for the powers that be in the Democratic party, methinks, and was out to trash Hackett the whole time (his buddy, Jerome, trolled around at Kos criticizing Hackett - and then it turned out he was on the Brown payroll). I think Sam Seder needs to stop allowing Markos on his radio show.

I went over and read deleted statements. It was a lot more comments then the f+++ off to one guy and that one said a lot more then that.

It was a pretty fiercely emotional thread...I always quit reading posts that turn to name calling and insults. Strong feelings can be put other ways, the # of swear words aren't how you win a debate. You might not have been the only one banned through that thread, don't know. I never see differing opinions be rated off the page, just ones that were really insulting.

I really appreciate both of these sites. I was on Daily Kos first but hated the lack of posts allowed about election fraud. My son told me about this site and what a relief it was to find it.

I like how things are handled here. Some things, like 9-11, are sent to another forum, but people are able to talk about what they need to. I'm poor but paltry donations I do send to support forums are only here.

But there are good threads over there too, many good threads.

But I think in either place those comments might have had the same results. Sometimes it's better to cool off first. Nothing wrong with the strong emotions or opinions though.
