Get real, folks. Cheney and Whit spent VALENTINE WEEKEND with girlfriends.
Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 01:05 PM by blm
If any of you ladies and men of this board have been involved outside your marriage, you know damn well that Cheney and his pal were sneaking off to spend time with their girlfriends.

Men don't spend Valentine's weekend with two other women just to hunt.

The time lapse in reporting the incident was to cover up alot more than the shooting

I know from my years in LA and my friendships with callgirls that the Houston crowd of power players were quite "active" in hiring women from LA for their "parties" and events. The whole "Christian" thing is a political act.

The women involved here are your typical power-loving type women. Like the Jane Seymour character in Head Office. Their turn-on is power and the money they can make being associated with that power.

42. Lawyers retract jurors' letters urging clemency
SAN FRANCISCO - Former Whitewater independent counsel Kenneth Starr and a Los Angeles attorney said Monday they would withdraw unreliable affidavits from jurors submitted to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger as part of a bid to spare a murderer and rapist from execution.

The bulk of the documents supporting clemency for Michael Morales purportedly made by six trial jurors were denounced by prosecutors Friday as forgeries, but the defense lawyers stood by them until Monday, when they said they would withdraw five of the six.

In a letter to Attorney General Bill Lockyer, attorney David Senior said he and Starr were "withdrawing any and all reliance on any exhibits generated" by one of their investigators.

Kathleen Culhane, the investigator under scrutiny, declined to comment when reached by telephone at her San Francisco office.

31. "Valentine's Weekend?"
Oh, come on! This past weekend was no holiday. I know (being semi-sarcastic here) because I base "holidays" on ski resort calendars. Believe me, they don't miss a chance to charge you full price and require two-night stays at the hotels, and last weekend wasn't considered a holiday weekend at any northeast mountain. This coming weekend IS, though. In fact, we drove to Okemo this past weekend without even a reservation and easily found a room as a walk-in. Valentine's Day is one of the few holidays that actually happens on the day it happens, and I think most couples celebrate with a card/candy, nice dinner, not a weekend away.

I'm not saying the there isn't an outside possibility that this was the case, but come on...look at Cheney. If he can even find his pecker under that massive gut, it's long since ceased functioning because of all the medications and heart trouble. And like, he's such a stud, too...I can see why any woman would want to jump him (not semi-sarcastic, full-on sarcastic).

So, now the story about the Veep shooting a man in the face still isn't bizarre enough, we've had to add booze and broads into the mix.

104. There ARE women who'd be okay with jumping him. Don't forget the
ultimate aphrodesiac: POWER. He has loads of it, all of it ill-gotten gain. And some women, say maybe some middle-aged, attractive local ladies who've known these two a long time. They're all on first-name basis. Friends - a level of status that often trumps actual titles and positions, AND also size-of-political-contribution (I mean, look at Kenny-boy. Exhibit A). Furthermore, few in the mainstream have cared, or dared, to note that each of these four people was married to somebody else not present in that group.

I'm not a hunter. Don't know anything about hunting weekends, or "hunting weekends." I have read quite a few posts here in the last few days from people who do, and there were some interesting observations about "hunting weekends" that were designed as cover for some tryst while the wife stayed home. I don't know this personally. But, thereya go. I'm just saying...

30. Guys who don't get erections still have "other" forms of sex....some even
have orgasms without ever getting an erection.

there are many forms of sex where an erection is not permitted by the lady in question, the man must perform all service w. tongue or other equipment, heh heh

the word mistress often has a double meaning to men who can afford such twists

Where was the husband of the hostess, why didn't he do the talking?

I noticed that even when they came clean about the accident the tried to leave the Swiss Miss out of it. It was quite awhile before they admitted that she was even there.

Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 01:47 PM by Bozita
Cheney's a strange SOB. The stuff that turns him on is probably equally strange.

40. I was one of the ones annoyed by all the Cheney threads
yesterday-
he shot a man on accident big deal! The guy wasn't an enemy,it wasn't Libby he shot for cryin' outloud! There are other news stories and issues we need to be dealing with BUT now...

yeah.It just doesn't add up.There was a cover up of something for some reason. Now I'm hearing the man he shot has a heart attack?Yeah. This is more complicated than an accidental shooting.

49. Nothing would surprise me
If Jeff Gannon can make so many visit's to the White House when there's no press happenings going on than it does make you wonder. Or maybe they're not into celebrating V-day much anymore. Up until my grandfather got sick he and my grandmother always did something together even if it was going out to a restaurant they both liked and getting some chocolates.

54. To those who cannot imagine Cheney having a mistress.
Hitler had a mistress. As another poster noted, Kissinger had the lovely Jill. There are all kinds of repulsive individuals who manage to find a lover/confidante/whatever.

Powerful men can be incredibly different in private moments. There can actually be tenderness and affection shown. What we see of Cheney, what the world sees of Cheney, that's not what his mistress would see. There is also the strong possibility that if this is an affair, it's one of mutual benefit. She may not particularly enjoy the notion of Dick's affections, but his power gets her where she wants to go. I think the terms are "whore" and "pimp."

those two geriatric geezers can't be a sexual turn on in any way. That's what my husband used to call a two bagger. You put a paper bag over his head and the other one over your's in case his falls off.

But I just don't see Cheney romancing anyone on valentine's day...I can certainly see him having illicit adventures with women (probably degrding ones to the women) but I don't see him as the type that would pay homage to a woman on valentine's day.

106. I posted last night about Henry Kissinger, who was

IMO quite unattractive even back in the Nixon years, and who said "Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac." Jill St. John and Henry the K have been mentioned but Henry also married a beautiful, and much younger, woman.

Ugly old guys with money and power can get women, even very beautiful women. Not all of us will do anything for money and power but they don't need all of us, do they?

110. I had forgotten Kissinger's wife
She appears to be young enough to be his daughter if not his granddaughter! That woman must have a stomach of cast iron to be able to look at that old goat and then get in bed with him.
Same goes for Cheney.

Creep is a mild mannered word when describing those two.
