Now one of the "BBs" is lodged on or near Whittington's heart?
I can understand the face and neck wounds in uncovered flesh. But in the chest? Through clothing and (probably) a heavy hunting jacket or vest?
Anybody know what the temp was late Saturday afternoon north of Corpus? I haven't hunted in years, but it sounds to me like Cheney was a lot closer to this poor bastard than has been reported. What were the light conditions at 5:30 p.m.?
This ain't passing the smell test.

1. Sun was still up at 5:30. |
|
The info I have says sunset was 6:20ish. According the report, they were 30 yards from one another. Wouldn't surprise me if that was another one of those convenient factoids though.

3. The Armstrong woman said they were wearing hunting gear.... |
|
That would have to include a vest or a jacket.
