Question: What if Whittington dies? |
|
Any other person would at least be investigated for possible manslaughter charges. They've already delayed/prevented/interfered with the sheriffs' department investigation of the "accident". Is the White House ready to OFFICIALLY position themselves as being above the law?
At least it would give Cheney a real reason to go into hiding.

1. unfortunately it's already too late to test cheney's blood alcohol level |
|
sadly i think he gets away w. it
i do believe it was an accident but it would be involuntary manslaughter w. some probation time and not being allowed to hunt for awhile if it happened to joe average who would get tested immediately after the shooting

3. If Whittington dies ... |
|
... it will be determined that he had a pre-existing condition, totally unrelated to the shooting, which caused his demise.
And then, after a few weeks, it will be spun into:
"While enjoying a quiet dinner, VP Cheney accidentally sprayed Whittington with pepper while seasoning his food. After Whittington accidentally swallowed an uncrushed peppercorn, it lodged itself in his heart, which later proved to be fatal.
Whittington's TWO mistresses, BOTH of whom accompanied him for a weekend of hunting, mourn his passing ..."

10. That must be the shot |

they mentioned would be left in place. I thought they were referring to an entry just under the skin. Sheesh, the heart?
Speaking of mistresses, has it ever been announced who the third person was? Curious minds want to know.

If Whittington dies, I would think there would be no way to avoid charges against Cheney, regardless of who he (thinks he) is. To do that would be for the United States to condone murder, and that would...
...nevermind. It's been going on in Iraq for years now. :eyes:

7. I hope the old guy pulls through... |

But I've had the thought too. Negligent homicide? Is that a valid charge? The very least is that his negligence caused the death. I'm betting Cheney was drunk as a skunk, high as a kite... and that is why they didn't want him talking to anyone until the next morning.
Now, had that been any one of us in the same situation, they would have had breath, blood, urine and any other bodily fluid they could get... and it would have been taken IMMEDIATELY!!
I fully expect them to position themselves above the law, that's their MO.

We would be charge with negligent-careless manslaughter, get a hefty fine, a couple of years in prison, and probation, with our hunting license yanked and forced into getting rid of our guns.
With this guy Cheney, well, he'll probably will get off with a snarled apology, the media will relentlessly spin and cover for his fat ass, and the sheeple will all soon be bleating out how it was Whittington's fault all along.
Fuck that, Cheney violated the first rule of hunting, always make sure that your shot is a safe shot. It was on Cheney's shoulders to make sure that nobody was in his line of fire, but instead, he just spun around and pulled. And now a poor man is in the hospital for it, and could possibly die.
And we will get to watch the specter of a member of Bushco getting away with murder while the brain dead crowd cheers:eyes:
