Cheney is toast...even the "common" people aren't going to buy this crap |
|
if it had been anyone else, we would be under questioning and grilled.
Hunters are already not happy about buying lisences and know Cheney didn't get his
If it were a simple accident and Harry was fine, we would have dozen's of pictures showing us that.
I said it before and I will say it again.
THIS WAS A SHUT UP WARNING

1. I talked to a Freeper earlier today |
|
The guy is a big hunter and he was soooo pissed that they were blaming Whittington for getting shot. He said Cheney needed to grow some balls and admit he screwed up!

3. Jeez, even I'm not that paranoid. |
|
I don't think Harry was shot deliberately. Not because I think Cheney is too nice a guy to blast somebody in the face with a shotgun, but because it would be so stupid. Look what's happening. No way Cheney could have wanted all that. I'd bet on a drunken accident & coverup.

9. He didn't do it on purpose...but still, "the grownups are in charge" |
|
as Cheney himself said. And a grown-up takes responsibility for his fuck-ups.

Now, what I know about hunting you could put on the head of a pin, but even the hunters on FreeRepublic.com are put off by this.

11. Common people won't buy this because every common man |
|
out there will know that he would have been slammed to the ground or tasered by law officers present, if not shot first himself, and hauled off to jail and charged with any number of crimes.

These are the ones you'll remember that lied to the whole world about yellowcake and WMDs! They outed an undercover CIA agent, not to mention allowing 911 to occur! No, they'll just play this as they usually do to get the public's attention away from more important issues and they'll get away completely with it all because they are LARGE AND IN CHARGE!!

15. Correct me if I am wrong, Cheney was only cleared about the hunting Lic. |
|
I have heard no official POLICE REPORTS about this much less anything said about Cheney being cleared in that front...Please correct me if I am wrong, But Cheney may still have to face criminal charges.

We're already starting to hear this regime squeal "the media is so obsessed with this story, we're not able to get the "people's" business done". GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! One less day of fleecing the treasury, of tapping my phones and reading my email the better. One more thing to keep this regime off balance and "off message" that mean unchecked power and the further destruction of the Constitution and civil liberties.
Cheney's handling of this fiasco is what's caused the problem here. Had this story hit Saturday night...Chenney do a quick press conference on Sunday and then let the Rove machine take over...this story would have been shoveled under the rug. He didn't. Not only that, it appears he pissed Rove, Snotty and the rest of the boooosh staff off as they're stuck trying to cover Crashcart's ass while Crashcart continues to hide.
I honestly think Cheney thought he could get this story stonewalled...and was spending all Saturday night trying to "think" his way out of things. Unfortunately, Crashcart had a problem...there's a body! Unfortunately, this body couldn't get up and dismiss things, but it couldn't be burried away either. Whittington's injuries were too serious and there was no way Crashcart could prevent a Police report from being filed (on Sunday afternoon) and finally tried to quietly leak the story to the local press hoping it'd get quickly buried that way (I wouldn't be surprised we learn that Chenney or one of his people are related to the Corpus Christi paper owner).
Just like in any other scandal...it's not the crime, it's the cover-up, and this one was so obvious and so blatant. Crashcart was just too smart for himself this time, and I, for one, am enjoying him twist in the wind...and hope this continues for weeks and months to come. For those who want a good drip, drip, drip...you now have one!
