1. We haven't reached it yet.
But at this rate, we will likely reach our goal must faster than we ever have before.

Last fund drive was the fastest one ever: we reached our goal of 1000 donations by Friday evening. The goal for this fund drive is higher (1200) but it looks like we're probably going to finish much faster than usual. Maybe tomorrow, if we're lucky.

2. Yay DU!!
I gave what I could spare.
Diapers to buy soon and all that, but I would go crazy without DU so I try to share the love when I can.

But enough with the niceties.....if you can spare it, even $5, fork over the cash peeps! :)

I notice you're in Chouteau. Tell me you know where Poteau (my birthplace) is and I'll give you one of my hearts!

5. back in the 'old' days we used to go on road trips down in your part
of the state in the fall, some of the most beautiful country you'll ever see. One of the several brothers of mind graduated in '56 too. Locust Grove High School. Okie thru and thru.

7. Thanks for the nice words about my birthplace, makodie!
My parents snatched me away to go live in the Northwest before I was old enough to object, and while I've been to OK a few times since, I haven't been over Poteau way. Had some cousins who graduated from HS there, would have been back in the late 40s. Bunch of Okies thru and thru in my family! Unfortunately they're the RW kind and if they knew what a leftie I am, would probably drum me outa the corps!

Oh--I didn't wait for your response to give you a heart. It's a done deed! Happy Valentine's Day. Glad you're a fellow DUer!
