2. Didn't You Hear? He Went Back To ICU As A Precaution

against infection. I was told that was the most likely reason by a poster who claimed to be a nurse. :eyes:

3. um...no, it's because some birdshot went into his heart. that means,
he was MUCH closer than we were told, and that he was far far more fucked up in terms of injuries than we were first told. That's why the delay in notifying L.E. well, part of it. They needed to get him outta there before the cops got there, and Dick needed to sober up.

These weren't 'superficial' pock marks from a 30 yard shotgun facial.

He may've been 30 feet away or closer. That's why he had to be life flighted Corpus Christy. I'll betcha anything he wasn't "joking" with the staff. I'll bet he had serious, deep facial and neck wounds, which were downplayed as "peppered" and we just weren't told about the fact that those bb's went into his chest cavity and into his vital organs.

4. That is what I have thought all along...
As an experienced hunter I can understand how someone could get nicked at 30 yards. I have seen it happen and it has happened to me. Fortunately, there were no serious wounds (both were to the back).

But just look at an object (person) 30 feet away and think how stupid or drunk that would make DeadEye look.

I'm just telling you what another poster, who claimed to be a nurse, was saying. I didn't believe her, thus the :eyes:

8. one piece of medical info leaked through the blackout
"One of the surgeons said, `We'll get this BB from near the liver, and go ahead and get that other one at the same time.' The surgeon looked at him and said, `that way we'll kill two birds with one stone.' And he said, "I consider that a poor choice of words.'"

http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/news/nation/13864503.htm

This was reported yesterday, amid characterizations of the injury as "mostly superficial" (in the Hitchhiker's Guide sense?). So we're looking at a similar profile to shrapnel injury, albeit with smooth little ball bearing shapes. Which has its own rewards:

Three weeks after a shotgun wound to the chest and abdomen, a patient developed acute ureteral colic caused by a migrating shotgun pellet. The pellet passed spontaneously.

http://www.jtrauma.com/pt/re/jtrauma/abstract.00005373-199512000-00032.htm

By "passed spontaneously" they mean like a kidney stone.

16. And to think I originally bought the ICU as Standard Operating Procedure
for birdshot victims when it was first announced that he'd been shot.

He was said to be in serious condition, but then they tried to play that down too.

17. I know...it was all a sham. That's why we haven't even seen the guy yet
I've been bird hunting. I've used #7 1/2 shotshells, and I'm telling you, they'll fuck you up. No way he was 30 yards away to get those BB's in his chest cavity...maybe 30 feet...maybe 30 inches.

18. I hate comparing to Kennedy's mishap
but it does remind me of that in a way. And I hope that we can at least use this to shut the Republicans the fuck up when they bring up Chappiquidick.

19. There is only one similarity between the two incidents, IMO...
money and power can get you out of anything.

I'm too young for Chapaquiddic, but from what I know, I think what kennedy did was wrong, and he should've at least been charged with more than leaving the scene. The repukes created a scandal out of it, which they still invoke today. In fact, that dog-faced prick Mike gallagher tried to use it last night. Glaring hypocrisy there, though, and that 's why we should be prepared to shove it right up their ass.

1. Cheney shot a guy in his face
2. Cheney did not inform local law enforcement, but rather had his SS goons keep them away until the next day.
3. Cheney was probably intoxicated (a charge he denies, much like Chappa)
4. Cheney did not inform the POTUS
5. CHeney had the ranch owner tell the local newspaper, not the press corps

plus many more foggy details and holes. and lies.
