4. Probably the guy's medicaid-medicare will |
|
be used. Maybe he's lucky enough, Texas lawyer-friend of Richard the Lyin'-Hearted, to have medical insurance of his own. Who knows, maybe he will sue Dead-Eye Dick, if he can get around the sheriff's finding that the Sharp-shooter was not negligent. Otherwise, it might be worth it for someone to make a legal finding that the VP did this shooting as an Official Act so we can get him impeached.

that will be written about this administration once they are gone. I just hope I have the time to read each and everyone of them. :)

10. I'm sure he is self-insured. |
|

6. That would be the supreme irony. |
|
GI's are injured and crippled doing BushCo dirty work and they can't get the VA to lift a finger to help.
The president in charge of vice shoots one of his cronies on a wild weekend and the guy gets carte blanche.

8. In a sense, yes, because he's probably on Medicare. |
|
I'm sure a rich guy like him also has a sterling medigap health insurance policy as well. If he sues Cheney, no doubt we will foot that bill.

15. The Republican congress will probably pass a bill to pay his bills. They |
|
will probably also tack on a rider to pay Cheney's $7 fine for not having a quayle license, or whatever it was.

As I see it (not being a lawyer nor playing one on TV), whether or not Mr. Whittington can afford his own care is beside the point. Like it or not, it was an "agent" of the government who put him in the hospital in the first place. (I consider even Shit-fer-Brains and DUCK! himself to be employees of the federal government, nothing more...)
I think it probably brings up the question of whether or not DUCK! would be considered to be performing his "official duties" when the accident occurred. And, of course, whether or not DUCK! can be held responsible for ANYTHING so long as he's one of The Chosen.

18. But was he acting in his role as agent of the government at that time? |
|
That would be an essential question to ask, and I think the answer is NO.
