11. Rodeodance always "dictates" or paraphrases shows that are on.
You just have to give her a chance.

She is great for cube monkeys.

Secret Service spokesman Eric Zahren said about an hour after Cheney shot Whittington, the head of the Secret Service's local office called the Kenedy County sheriff to report the accident. "They made arrangements at the sheriff's request to have deputies come out and interview the vice president the following morning at 8 a.m. and that indeed did happen," Zahren said.

At least one deputy showed up at the ranch's front gate Saturday evening and asked to speak to Cheney but was turned away by the Secret Service, Zahren said. There was some miscommunication that arrangements already had been made to interview Cheney, he said.

Gilbert San Miguel, chief deputy sheriff for Kenedy County, said the department's report had not been completed Monday and that it was being handled as a hunting accident, although he would not comment about what exactly they were investigating. Both the sheriff's department and the state have determined that alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

4. Don't hold out any hopes there
The Texas government establishment is 100% pro-Bush. They will do what they need to do to protect their little child, Baby Bush.

6. I am still waiting for the police report. All we got so far is a press

10. That's the TP&W report, with a one-page...
... press release from the Kenedy Cty. sheriff's department. No actual police report yet. Probably won't be one, since the game warden has already filed the details.

But, if Whittington were to die, I imagine it would be a whole `nother deal.

13. Is it possible the Sheriff said he'd be there at 8 PM?
Edited on Tue Feb-14-06 06:25 PM by Scout1071
Think about it. According to reports, Cheney shot Whittington at 5:50PM EST. If the SS called the Sheriff's department "about an hour" after the incident, the Sheriff's office could have said we'll have someone there by 8.

They show up, only to find Cheney's "unavailable" and the SS plays the whole...."Ooooohhh.....you meant 8 PM? Yea, that isn't going to happen, but the Vice President would be more than happy to speak with you in the morning after he's had a chance to sleep it off."
