1. They'll be fine

I have family in Malmo, just across from Copenhagen and my Uncle is in Copenhagen a few times a week. It's fine, don't worry.

Have a great time!

Cheers!

2. Go. Visit Copenhagen, see the Little Mermaid.
Are we going to live our lives ruled by fear? If Bush/Cheney has anything to do with it, the answer is yes. Go. Bring us back some fine Carlsberg brews. I was there once, for five days. It's worth it. I would go back in a heartbeat. Besides, the Danes should hear from some real Americans that not all of us worship at the feet of Bush.

6. Tivoli! Yes. I forgot. Been to Salzburg?
It all happened in 1973; backpacking through Europe while in college for months. Maybe the best thing I ever did. The memories are a beautiful thing. Little things, like hearing Curtis Mayfield's "Superfly" for the first time on a reel to reel in an atmospheric bar in Amsterdam. . .And many adventures. Thanks for the reminder about Tivoli.

8. The castle, the Sound of Music, the sound of unbridled youth. Sigh.
And a Happy Valentine's Day to you, my dear.

9. The best gingerbread I've ever tasted in my life. From the marketplace.
Sold in giant pretzel shapes. Funny, the little things that stand out in memory.

Thank you and a very Happy Valentine's Day to you, too, faygokid.
