Bush is just the "pretty face" that they put in front of the camera. Of course, they haven't explained that part to Bush yet, so he still thinks he's president.

I have noted on numerous threads that the VP put the "shadow government" in place on 9-11. This is not a wild conspiracy theory. It is documented in four books that I strongly recommend to all DUers: {1} Losing America, by Sen Byrd; {2} Worse Than Watergate, by John Dean; {3} A Pretext for War, by James Bamford; and {4} Rise of the Vulcans, by James Mann. (#4 was brought to my attention by friend Emit here on DU around 2-5; I read it two days later, and thank Emit for the recommendation. It has other important information in it, as do the others.)

9. An example I like to use... |
|
...is that Bush is Uncle Junior and Cheney is Tony Soprano. Bush is the boss in name only, Cheney is the one really running things. Also, like Tony, Cheney fire shotguns at people from time to time.

10. As they were saying on hardball, no one is brave enough to |
|
call Cheney on the carpet and make him answer for himself. Even W. is afraid of unca dick.

16. Chimp is the President in name only. |
|
But is still the "President" nonetheless.
If the question was "Who actually performs the duties of President?" I would have to answer differently.
