These Pictures Make Me Want to Cry
I'm not sure why. I think maybe because it shows the innocence and goodness
of both the soldiers and the children, and the fact that the Bush administration
has taken advantage of our brave men and women in the army sickens me.

7. Except for the fact that poor Guardsman is wearing.....
woodlands camo.

That will really serve him well in Iraq.

God, it never ends.

3. These are three-hankie photos alright ...
... all the more reason why the Abu Ghraib soldiers, and other 'torturers', should be brought to justice. They are defiling the name and the image of people like those in these photos, who are HONESTLY trying to win hearts and minds, and make a difference ...

9. exactly!
on of the major places where the democrats and liberals in congress go wrong in politics is the fact that they (without meaning to) demonize the soliers, making bush's "support our troops" propoganda work. it is not our troop's fault that bush lied to the nation and sent them to war. i have many family members in the army which makes me especially sensative about this issue.

13. What I like
is how everyone are friendly to each other. Those little kids you can tell are scared. :( I want to hug them all. :(

puke-inducing government PR. American soldiers are not trained to cuddle children. We didn't go over there to hand out candy.

mosts of those are also almost three years old. They don't have many good photo ops these days, eh?

Still, there's gotta be a hospital opening SOMEWHERE...

once that our government would go around and force school teachers to take their kids out to meet the soldiers and they would throw them candy and than a bomb would go off.
