1. Republicans are just like fat schoolyard bullies |
Talk tough as long as they're stealing your milk money, but they cry like babies when caught. They'll be squeeling like a herd of piglets before long.

5. I wish Ney would roll and start talking about the "Help America Vote Act". |
I picked up somewhere that one of Abramoff's payoff's was supposed to be inserted into the law that brought us electronic voting with secret source code owned and controlled by rightwing Bushite corporations. They figured dirty lobbying was an appropriate addition. But Ney wouldn't do it. He said something like, "It (HAVA) was too important" (to put a payoff into). Too important, indeed. No more important piece of Bush Cartel legislation was ever passed through the filthy fingers of Mr. Tom Delay.

11. Ney did his best to delay investigations into electronic machines |
He's my congressman. We had a running correspondence about the security of voting machines. His letters always stated that he would be certain to keep my concerns in mind, but that meetings about electronic voting had not been set. What he didn't say was that he was the one responsible for setting up the meetings. He is guilty of negligence. I wish I had saved the letters.

10. It depends on if he has a 'biggie' to trade to save his ass |
otherwise he may not even be offered a deal. If he does have someone/something that will add to their case, my bet is he will be singing like a canary.
