She made a very stupid statement! People have been accidentally killed by a stray 22Cal shot up in the air than cam down and the victim just happened to be there!

Many people have been "peppered" by shot pellets and the shooter never even knew it happened and the victim didn't know who the shooter was.

The difference here is DISTANCE!

Whitington was NOT 30 Ft away! I'm sure of that! I think it was more like 15 to 20 FT max.

As a projectile travels, it looses velocity. Is that so hard to understand????

Now people will have it in their heads that this is inconsequential, because they won't think it through. Maybe they'll begin to question it if Whittington dies. Good chance he might die, if the physicians think open heart surgery is required.

Also, he's 78 years old. How old was this caller who has been apparently peppered senseless?
