This "heart attack" garbage is absolutely hilarious.
If Cheney had stuck the barrel of the gun up the guy's ass, and blown him wide open, they would have written it off as hemorrhoids.

1. Which garbage are you referring to?
In particular, I've been away. Let me guess, was it Mary Matalin? We were about due for some garbage from her by now.

3. Cheney accidently shot a 78 year old man while hunting
on a texas ranch on saturday. the guy was in stable condition but then suffered a "slight" heart attack later on. It's all anybody has been talking about.

4. An old guy is having a string of bad luck. Soon after
Dick Cheney shot him in the heart, he just happened to suffer a heart attack.

8. Oh, I actually heard that
I just thought you were reacting to some RW'ers comment on the heart atack.

As an aside, I was listening to Hannity (know thine enemy) and heard him say "the press is only outraged because they didn't get to report it first. Some local paper broke the story. The Big Washington Press Corps was naturally up in arms about this."

14. I just realized something
Now, bear with me. I'm not even sure I understand it.

So, this "media is jealous" meme must be coming from an RNC blast fax, since, as you say, this particular line is being peddled all over the RW-osphere via the Mighty Wurlitzer.

You get it? This is straight from the admin itself!

AND there's a well-publicized spat between Snotty and David Gregory, the press corps reporter with balls.

That means that Bushco (or Cheney) is siccing the attack poodles on the "librul media" itself!

Brilliant! That'll get you lots of great press! And when the press corps REALLY turns on you, look out.

Ask Al Gore about 2000.

13. And of course the pellet from Cheney's gun
has nothing to do with his heart attack.

5. Well, you could have a point Thyme.
Let's say the old guy was in serious condition when they brought him in. Let's say he even died, and now they're desperately trying to figure out what to do.

If they spin the "heart attack" ruse, people will connect Whittington with old age. Maybe they'll figure he was find, but he really died of old age.

Who knows? With Dick & Karl, anything goes.

Dick didn't shoot the guy. He tripped and fell on some shotgun shells, the clumsy bastard.
