Read this article closely and critically. So Mzzz ARMSTRONG was NOT an eyewitness, as she called herself at first, since she was SITTING IN THE CAR and DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A PROBLEM.
And she continues to call it a "peppering" although we know that a peppering is the gravity-falling shot from above with no power behind it. This was a FULL OUT BLAST, probably from less than 30 feet away. The key word is "HUGE".
Earlier, she said there was "a beer or two" somewhere.
Ah, and the dear gentry supped that eve, without discussing momentous trivia. And the master of Iraq did not let the idea of media cross his mind until he DEFERRED to milady the next morning. But we should TRUST him.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/APStories/stories/D8FONJ181.html .... Sitting in the hunting car, Armstrong didn't know there was a problem until she saw Cheney's security detail running.
"The first thing that crossed my mind was (Cheney) had a heart problem," she said. ....
"We knew he was alert ... He had just taken a huge peppering," said Armstrong, who still carries a pellet in her shin from a hunting accident when she was a teenager. ....
Cheney and the group did not discuss whether to announce the accident, she said.
By morning, Armstrong said she realized it would be a big news.
She felt most comfortable contacting the local Corpus Christi Caller-Times newspaper and that Cheney deferred to her choice. She said she received a call from White House political guru Karl Rove that morning to ask how Whittington was doing. ....
