...“It’s been an absolutely fantastic experience,” ...

However, there were indications Tuesday that some Hackett aides were taken aback by the way he handled his decision to quit. Though Hackett said in an interview that he informed his senior staff Monday night of his decision, an e-mail obtained by The Plain Dealer suggests that his campaign manager and others were caught unawares when the New York Times released an article Monday night quoting Hackett announcing his decision to quit the race...

2. If Paul HacKett really said that........
This proves that he's willing to put the best interests of his countrymen and his fellow Ohioans before himself!

I'm so proud of him....and I'm not even from Ohio!

3. Call me crazy..I like Hackett!
I hope someday he can get to Congress and we can continue to hear more about him. Wonder if they'll want his help on speaking out against the bloody bush regime?

4. Just wait until everyone gets through with him now.
There won't be anything left to perform "skullduggery" on.

Now they really will have to marginalize him, you know.

Skullduggery..meaning of:
"Verbal misrepresentation intended to take advantage of you in some way"

6. we need him in the congressional race
He needs to come out and say that I'm not a quitter, America needs reps like me in congress and I'm going to re-enter the contest in the OH-2 which is being poorly represented by Jean Schmidt.

8. He seems like a team player. And a good guy. I hope he takes
a short break and gets back to politics. I hope he develops the appetite for it again. What a great guy.
