Cheney' Ass is in a Sling - There are too Many Witnesses...
This was not a planned event. Lots of folks are now sweating bullets (pun intended) because they now have information that could bring Cheney down and they know what happens to folks who "know too much".

Take Katharine Armstrong, the host of the party. She's the one who insisted on calling the local paper. She's the one whose "beer or two" comments were scrubbed from MSNBC. Why? She's scared, that's why. She doesn't want to be the only one (or one of the only ones) who knows Dicky Boy was loaded in more ways that one when he shot Whittington. Lord know what else she is going to say.

And then there's Whittington himself. Will he just shut up and take one (or one more) for the team. And what about his wife and kids and grandkids. Not to mention the Secret Service and Cheney's mistress.

And here's where it gets interesting: the obvious move is for Cheney to resign and put a hand-picked front runner in place. But will he? And if he doesn't, he knows WAY too much to be pushed.

So pop the corn. The next few days will be VERY interesting, to say the least.

11. George the third was not near his wife - does he stay at the ranch when
she is doing Cheney?

Indeed only Armstrong "says" that George was on the guest list - Does anything actually show him in the area?

Perhaps is for the idea that his wife was by his side hunting - like the wife did say that she and Cheney were walking alone at the time of the shooting ......

5. hard to say - you could well be right
This is an administration that seems deathly afraid of appearing weak (whatever the end up meaning by that).

On the other hand, he might get talked into it by promises of being a power in the new administration.

7. I wondered if tonight's interview was going to be Cheney's LBJ moment...
but, from the lead up by FOX, it doesn't look that way.

8. Armstrong isn't even lying well, IMO.
She seems to be trying to help Dick out, but she's not very convincing. And we now know that Rove came into the picture early on. I'll bet Armstrong "insisted" = Rove told her to take ownership.

14. Was George the third even with the wife on her day out with Cheney?
It does not sound like he was there. Armstrong says he was on the guest list - but where was he?

The lady Amb may have made Cheney real tired with all that sex and beer.

17. Once Again: Cheney would never, ever, ever admit to even ONE beer...
if it weren't for the fact that there were so many uncontrollable witnesses.

18. They all sat down for an after-shooting feast to plan Dick's alibi
and arrange for the payoffs of the less endowed who witnessed the debacle.
