Oh, and there were alcoholic beverages being imbibed, but "no one" was drunk -- just feeling "fine."

If she didn't see or hear anything, which she indicates by saying she thought Cheney'd had heart problems, then how the freak does SHE know if Whittington announced himself or not, or even if Cheney had seen him and shot anyway?
