So the language is not going to be a problem for him.

28. Yes, globalization destroyed Argentina's economy.
The government policy is now about growing business rather than selling resources to US corporations. Otherwise, this project would not be feasible.

Take that Milton Friedman.

12. He has his reasons.
I recently heard that land there is about a 1/4 of what you would pay here. The government makes you keep x amount of what you buy untouched. It is supposed to hold a lot of promise for farmers who are barely getting by here. Your Dad may be one smart cookie. I wish him luck with his future endeavor.

31. Long story, here's the super-short version:
Most of his family still lives in Argentina and it's cheaper to live there. Plus, now that Argentina has abandoned the IMF, the local economies are starting to regenerate. It's slow-going, but there is a lot of potential.

16. SWEET. Now THERE is a man after my own heart!

I love people who follow their dreams. My husband & I are on the verge of realizing one of ours; our own auction house. If it goes well, we will travel to Europe, buy, and then sell in the States. Talk about a fantasy job.

GOOD FOR HIM!

25. Organic blueberries?
Blueberries are a very hot market for their anti-oxidant properties. Growing them organic, he can dry them and sell them anywhere.

Congratulations to your father for being a very wise man who follows his dreams.

27. I am jealous. Besides, blueberrys are so healthy, many health
food industries put good quality and organically grown blueberries as ingredients in their products.
Great idea.

Tell me, when he is going to have a open house party. :)

just kidding.

My grandmother used to grow all sorts berries and such in her half-acre garden, I got experience!!! :) Besides which, I need some medical care, and can't afford it in this country, South America, anywhere there, would help with that.
