Shot in the heart, lung and liver
cut the fugging spin. It's out now - Dr Bernadine Healy is on with Tweety and they're having a ball. Says they have not been forthcoming - the man is in serious trouble.

When they said he was sitting up doing paperwork I kind of yelled out loud.."Yea, if he's doing any "legal work" it's altering/writing his will." I mean the situation is sad, but I know they're lying.. They always lie..

Is he one of the docs treating the man, or is he just offering an opinion? I'm just trying to find out if this "heart, lung, liver" thing is true or just speculation?

23. Okay, thanks. But she's not treating him, right?
Edited on Wed Feb-15-06 07:38 PM by Emit
I'm assuming she's not actually a treating doc here, just giving opinion. Wonder where she's hearing the info about the extent of damage to this guy? Did they say in the interview where she had heard this about the liver, lung, heart thing?

Hopefully, the docs who are treating him are getting the news out. Maybe she has direct contact? Darn, I wish I had access to a tv right now so I can see what they're saying. Bits and pieces coming thru via a discussion board reminds me of that stupid telephone game I used to play in grade school -- you never know for sure what was actually said and the context surrounding it. I'll try to catch the repeat later. Thanks again for the info.

As to the liver story, I don't know exactly where that came from, but I read it in several posts here on DU today earlier this afternoon. I think one of those posts said it was on the radio so he didn't have a link.

reasons. :eyes: Give me a break! Obviously, they think we are all a bunch of morons!

My dad was in ICU about 27 years ago with a punctured lung and broken hip after my parents car popped out of gear and ran over him. He almost died-it was fricken SERIOUS. IMO, there is no way in hell a hospital is going to give up an ICU bed for someone to have some "privacy".
You want privacy? Go home then!

was his need for privacy suddenly gone? And then reappeared? If he's so well.. why isn't he waving for a camera or wanting to give a brief statement in defense of his pal, Dick?

I think his heart would be happy to find a new host, however, I don't think that will happen. Cheney's heart is a battered thing with no hope.
