"immediately"--who's calling for an immediate address of the media? Why do they frame the question that way? Of course people will think he should have tended to Whittington until the ambulance arrived. All the critics of his behavior are saying is that once he's in the ambulance and there's nothing more Cheney could do for him, addressing the media should have come soon thereafter.
