Stone the crows. Just saw Scarborough rip Cheney up one side...
...and down the other. Discussing the theory that Cheney was drunk, and said we have to have this discussion because of the delay in reporting the incident. He basically jumped up and down on him.

Scarborough. I think I took too much cold medicine. That couldn't have happened.

1. Coming from him, it's a real shock.
He's usually nothing more than a shill and apologist for the Neo-Cons.

To actually subject yourself to that fuckwad is more than I can bare. But I guess it comes w/ your territory, and I guess occasionally, like tonight, you catch a gem.

I was flipping through the channels and saw Franken on with Capt. Pinhead. Stopped long enough to hear that.

3. He was reacting like that during Katrina as well
I didn't see it, but I think it could have happened. Maybe he is trying to slam the scandal as "not the way a republican should act"?

He ripped the adiministration a new one over Katrina as well.

I think he might be a paleo-conservative instead of a neo.

I remember there was one fairly recent news event where I was surprised that he'd stopped shilling.

but not a neocon" crowd that is jumping off that sinking ship.

9. Scarborough?
Yikes! So out of character for him. I'm tempted to call the cops to pay a visit to his house and see if there are any alien pods in his basement. What could have gotten into him? He's making sense.

25. Weighty, but as you said, a no-brainer.
It's easy to blast Cheney for that, then later use it to show how objective you are. Even Repubs think Cheney's delay was stupid, and nothing much will come of it, unless Whittington either dies (and I hope he doesn't) or tells a greatly different story than Cheney.

14. It would be nice to hear if I weren't so cynical--I believe they are now
using this story as the lesser of two (three? four?) evils.

While Scarborho rants about the shooting, we hear nothing about the Katrina tapes, the Libby revelations or the other crimes they are committing "while the sun shines."

17. Cheney shooting story ain't going no
where they can talk about it forever and it isn't going to do Cheney any more or less harm, it seems they are going to rough Cheney up on the shooting, so that they can avoid the treason story. Every person who hunts DRINKS. Thats why this story will never get legs.

18. He followed Al Franken's lead about Cheney's possible drunkeness.
Al said Cheney should have gone to the hospital with the wounded guy. Since he did not, it makes one wonder if he was drunk.

21. He also was somewhat critical of Carlson...
...after Carlson's asinine comment the other night about since this was on private property and no charges are filed, then why bother.

Also, maybe it's me, but it seemed that Mr. Franken's compliment (?) of Scarborough's show, and that he should watch it more often, possibly seemed to disarm Scarborough and perhaps allow Mr. Franken more time to talk without interuption, which of course is verboten to allow liberals to do in mass media. Again, maybe it's me.
